The wedding industry is an ecosystem.
…which is why I rarely work with entrepreneurs outside of our industry. For over two decades, I have worked within the wedding/event ecosystem and understand all the nuances of vendors wanting to level up, but always framed within the context of the vendor ecosystem around them. This industry is unique in terms of dozens of companies coming together on one day, to execute their services simultaneously to accomplish the goals of the client and their brand.
From full launches to brand refreshers or coaching, I ‘speak’ all things wedding/event and craft solutions specific to you and your brand in your market. PS. That’s me as the construction worker on the right with the wheelbarrow. I designed this photoshoot as part of the launch for the new Dayton Arcade Events. Launching a new venue in the middle of Covid was no small undertaking, as you can imagine. Images were created to celebrate the transition between construction and hosting events. I opted not to go with a traditional wedding photo shoot because this venue can host large events perfect for galas and corporate events.
PPS. The actual construction workers were looking at us like we were nuts doing hair and makeup and setting up romantic florals and decor among them tiling the floor and painting walls. Totally worth it!

I first met Jennifer of Flourish & Co a few years ago, when I reached out to a fellow local wedding vendor seeking a recommendation for a consultant to help my husband and I with our fledgling event venue, and she recommended Jennifer unequivocally. We were novices in the world of venue ownership, but our venue was showing promise as a space that was beginning to gain some traction in our community. We typically ask new couples at tours how they heard about us, and in most cases couples say they discovered us on social media, and then swoon over how much they love what they see on our pages. Jennifer then built us a brand new venue website and a new music website, and helped generate much of the needed content by staging and photographing the elements that she knew needed to be included to provide a comprehensive representation of our space.
In addition to all of these contributions, Jennifer also plays a major role in helping coordinate and execute our Open Houses and styled shoots. These are the kinds of events that have so much potential for finding new clients, collaboration with the wedding community, and generating invaluable content, but can also be a very heavy lift for a venue owner trying to keep up with the day-to-day responsibilities of managing the venue. Each event of this kind that Jennifer has helped us coordinate has exceeded our expectations in all ways.
Sometimes the most difficult thing to do as a business owner is tell your own story. Finding new ways to share who you are and what you have to offer can be difficult when you are so close to it. Since Jennifer has been working with us, we have consistently sold out our Saturdays and most Fridays and Sundays, and I can say with confidence that this success is in large part due to the trend-forward and authentic storytelling Jennifer has generated on our behalf.
And she's a lovely human. My husband and I feel so lucky that we found Jennifer when she had space for us on her roster of clients; I cannot recommend her highly enough.
